The Vision
A multi cuisine restaurant at the mall terrace wanted to create a unique dining experience by redesigning their space to seamlessly blend the covered area with the expansive open terrace. This would allow patrons to enjoy the city’s atmosphere without being limited by the region’s extreme weather.
The Transformation
The design incorporated a natural, biophilic material palette, featuring pinewood, exposed brick, woven basket light fixtures, turf, and abundant foliage, all contributing to an organic and inviting ambiance. A deep grey ceiling served as a dramatic backdrop for the organic lighting elements. A grand pergola defined seating areas and facilitated flexible layouts for various gatherings. A large outdoor buffet counter became a striking focal point, while ambient floor lighting interspersed with river bed pebbles added a touch of drama.
The Result
At the end, we created a visually captivating and adaptable space that seamlessly integrates the indoor and outdoor environments, offering a unique dining experience that celebrates nature and urban vibrancy.
